was a series of risograph printed envelopes that guided participants in building a relationship to a place of their choosing. Envelopes were designed with imagery sourced from the historical architecture text A Pattern Language that catalogues construction patterns within the built environment. Each envelope prompt was concerned with a pattern of behavior such as noticing, listening, caring for, remembering, and returning to. Participants received five envelope prompts over the course of five weeks. Out of these patterns, relationships were built.
